:the fuel pressure dampner is not needed if you have large injectors and / or another fuel rail .. ROFLMAO, who told you this? dude, the more fuel you spray, the MORE you need fuel pressure dampner. once the pressure starts to drop (from fuel delivery), fuel pump noise will be seen in the fuel pressure. just because you chose not to install one on your border kit, does NOT mean dude should delete his. Infact, it'd be less of a problem for him then for you... I'd contact a fuel system expert about your car before you go off doing any more tuning....
the purpose of the fuel dampner is to minimize the "pulses" to the injector .. good answer I have the border 850cc kit and fuel rails --so my car has the fuel dampner removed and was tuned that way without problems .. that was your decision to not run one. It was not because you are running the boarder 850 kit. The border kit doesn't come with a fuel pump, fuel filter, or pressure regulator.... so does this mean they aren't needed either? i suggest getting an after market fuel pressure regulator only if you are at the rwhp limits for whatever cc injector you have ( 370 will be approx 370rwhp , 555 will be approx 555 rwhp, etc ) .. it's one of the first mods on ALL other performance cars. but not on Z32s??? look out side the box. The benefits are global to the entire vehicles fuel and air systems (when tuned properly). You just cannot go and up your fuel pressure by 30 psi. however after market fuel pressure regulators will / can over tax your fuel pump and is only a bandaid fix for running more boost on small injectors ... correct on the fuel pump part, incorrect on the band aid fix. it's only a band aid fix if that's your goal. upping fuel pressure is recommended. (period).
