| companies make performance fuel dampners. also BTW, deleting a damner depends on how much line you have between the fuel rails and the fuel pressure regulator. also BTW 2, you can always adjust fuel delivery by adressing fuel pressure and fuel injector delivery rates (cc/min). also BTW 3, you can replace it with a performance one, but will need to go to an all braided / AN-fitting configuration. also BTW 4, the fuel dampner should be considered your only level of safety for fuel delivery other then a fuel filter. Unless you are the hardest of hardcore racers (IRL? Indy? Nascar? JGTC?), i'd ignore your friends and go for a safe level of modification... MOD for a purpose.
