| If you have pleanty of headroom with your injectors, (ie, you are running stock 370s), and are running stock fuel pump and controller you can delete it. But it serves NO purpose to delete it. It doesn't effect fuel flow rates. Once you get into 555+, you risk running random cylinders lean. This is due to the pulsations of the fuel pump causing pressure waves through the fuel system. The dampner acts as a fuel system capacitor. It prevents the fuel pressure from dramatically changing and fluctuating due to the fuel pumps pressure waves. The dampner does this by keeping a VERY small reserve quatity of fuel in a bellow that is kept at a certain pressure as determined by intake manifold reference pressures. In the long run, it serves no purpose to delete it and generally, you will not see any gains by deleteing it. You may do more damage then harm depending on your configuration. Please don't question YugoBernie.
