| :Obviously I couldn't copy his design exactly. What I'm saying is there are many ways of accomplishing the same task. A boost leak tester by nature is so generic that a patent will be difficult to enforce. After all, it is essentially a pipe plug with a fitting and a gauge. Any slight deviation from his design makes a competing product different enough that he would not be able to enforce his patent. I completely agree. It's probably not a product worth the effort to get a patent for, but if he wants to, he should go through the process. I guess I'm just missing the point of ragging on him. He did a good job with the product, encourage him keep learning....by going through the patent application process for example. >:LOL @ petty jealousy. Please explain why I would be jealous? I don't know. Why are you jealous? ;) I'm just saying that's the way the posts come off. Personally, I think he's done a fine job for a 19 year old. Dustin
