Message Remember, on the audio sites tehy say it's 90% install and 10% equipment. After dropping whatever amount of cash you did for those, you should take the time to set them up as well as possible.

I'd fab up some brackets that seal out the opening really well, and seal up the otehr door openings as well as you can and listen to the sound. Then, fab up some boxes and see what that sounds like.

Also, make extension leads for the tweeters like I said before and moe them around while listening to find what you like.

Try all the different listening combinations above with the phase switch in the other position on the amp. I *think* you might want to try swapping the speaker leads also to alter polarity, and/or alter just the polarity of the tweets. Check on audio sites to make sure that is not erroneous info though.

You might even want to get an EQ of some kind to really tweak the sound well; I was amazed at how much difference adjusting my parametric equalizer on my Alpine made to the sound, especially my low-mid bass on the 6.5's.
