in my final quest to listen to every car speakers available on the market this year. I ended up at a store that had the last set of speakers I have not listen to yet .. Dynaudio .. I have to say that I was completely blown away by them ! I was sold on them after 3 minutes from listening to them .. I knew I wanted these speakers every time I switched to another pair of speakers on the test board and felt like someone was taking something very pleasant away from me ..and I wanted it back real bad !!
and they had all the latest models on the test board, from all the big names .. Alpine X series .. Focal ..Boston Acoustics ..JL Audio ..MB blah blah
Focal are second best .. the only thing I didn't like about the TN51 tweeters in the Utopia series, that there were too sharp for my taste .. Dynaudio is pure natural sounds .. very easy to listen to, and get lost in the moment !
I just thought I would share with everyone.. they had them for $750, but I found a much better deal than that .......Thanks Ryan for your valuable recommendations, "Get the FoCals if you can. Or better yet, some DynAudios for over $1,000 ;) Good luck man."
You really pushed me to go out there and do a more detailed search than I planned to. I have a quick question though, would they fit in the BOSE enclosure or should I start looking for the non BOSE Nissan brackets ?
The shop was really for free air install ... they said the speakers would benefit from the entire door panel with some dynamat instead of being trapped in an enclosure.
They are not doing any installation of course... no one is touching my car or taking any bolt or panels but me !
I just wanted a quick answer about the speaker install so I can plan accordingly .. bracket or box !?
