hmmm... good info. I always thought of displacement as effectively the amount of air... guess I still have alot to learn. Still, isn't the amount of exhaust more directly related to the HP generated (more air/fuel) rather than the displacement? I wasn't disputing your claim that 2.5" may be sufficient to 1000hp (my own research shows otherwise, but as you point out, there are real examples you know of), but saying that the explanation you offered (that the Z has 2X 1.5L engine) is a little misleading. I just wish someone with 700+bhp did a dyno with a 2.5" exhaust and with a 3" exhaust so this matter can be settled clearly.
