Message	remember your only pumping out exhaust from a 1.5L engine per exhaust pipe. You'll never max out a 2.5 inch exhaust system in a Z...never. Not even with 1200 HP. B&B and other companies that make 3 inch exhausts/testpipes likes to say you need 3 inch exhausts past 500 HP cause they want your money. There are many 1000+ HP 9 second Grand National's that run a SINGLE 3 inch exhaust... and they have 3.8L engine's. A Z with a dual 2.5 inch exhaust system already have more flow than they do.
