Message	My clip was 2600 to my door with my business license. I also bought an AVCR and Greg dupree exhaust from the turbos back. I wouldn't cheap out on the "while we're at it" stuff myself. Replace everything you can afford to. Grand total, took about 25 hours of work cleaning the engine, engine bay, and doing stuff like 60k maintenance, rear main, oil pan etc. Would I do it again? You bet your ass I would. I learned alot more than just looking at stuff online and had some fun with friends doing it. BTW, make sure you have another mode of transportation. As for paying someone else, 1500-2k+ parts sounds very fair with all the maintenance parts and etc that they will be putting on for you.
