Message	smart ass and decided to give you the 3rd degree. (Depends on what tone of voice you used.) And when you said "I have LOTS of insurance", I'm sure you ticked him off. My plan, whenever I get pulled over, is to be as humble and cooperative as possible. I'll use the word "officer" a lot. I'll try to sound like I'm trying to help him. "What can I do for you, officer?" I try to sound innocent without being defensive. "Oh, I must have not noticed my speed as I was having trouble with my left contact lens." Also, if I am on the way to work or back, I always try to make sure my work badge is visible, so they know I am a professional kinda guy.
