| Barbiecar (luis) and Myself have been working on his car for a while to pull the plenum, slap in some new injectors and fix a leaky valve cover. Since we were in the neighborhood we decided to bypass the water lines and EGR system as well. Here are some pics if your interested. I thought a lot of other posts on these bypasses were way too complicated. Here are just some pics of how simple it is. WATER BYPASS* Drivers side water line bypass (it the line in my hand)
Turbo line connection (notice blue) Line connection at rear or engine (notice blue)
Passengers side water line bypass (notice the hoses have paint on the ends to help you differentiate them.
**EGR Bypass pics** After cutting of the tubing mid valve cover with a dremel disc, we inserted JB weld inside the tubes.
Then, with the rock hard guns that I call arms, I pinched the end and once again covered with JB WELD once more.

*BTW- on the EGR vacuum line that goes to the EGR unit, we just plugged and it is all good. I plan on fabbing up a plate that will plug up the plenum holes on the bottom of the plenum like I've done many times in the past. Here is just a shot of Barbiecars engine bay as is stands with all the bypasses and new injector we tossed in a few days ago. Some more pictures to come at the end of the week when we finish everything and do a few more minor bypasses. Anyways, that's what me and luis (barbie car) did last night. I'm tired.....so very tired. :)
