| I totally agree that when dragging the variables are more extreme and I've said as much in a few different ways throughout. My point was that I'd rather have a hundred runs with more variables than one or two with a few variables. If XXX turbo runs down the strip quicker YYY turbo 35 times, regardless of the variables, it says a hell of a lot compared to a single dyno that shows a variance of less than 10%. No hard facts can be determined based on that whereas with a very high degree of certainty I can say that XXX turbo produces a quicker car than YYY turbo. Is it hard fact that YYY turbo is inferior? No...it'd take more testing than that to be absolutely scientific. But if I saw 35 out of 40 people run quicker with XXX turbo, I sure would have a damn good idea of where I stand. If you don't agree with that line of thinking in this SPECIFIC scenario, then that's fine...but you don't even seem to get it. I feel like I'm wasting my time. The people that build some of our quickest Zs agree with me in relation to what the Sport 600s are capable of, a notable car that has since ditched them agrees and so far nearly every piece of evidence supports it EXCEPT your specific experience. You could be my best friend or just some dude on the internet and regardless, I'll be skeptical if that can be repeated easily or not. Instead I'm to fly in the face of all the proof I DO have, the seat time I have on the same turbos and drop it all from a single dyno sheet and a claim of stock lag. That's not my style so we'll just have to disagree. If we all thought the same it'd be a boring world I guess :)
