Message I totally agree that when dragging the variables are more extreme and I've said as much in a few different ways throughout. My point was that I'd rather have a hundred runs with more variables than one or two with a few variables.

If XXX turbo runs down the strip quicker YYY turbo 35 times, regardless of the variables, it says a hell of a lot compared to a single dyno that shows a variance of less than 10%. No hard facts can be determined based on that whereas with a very high degree of certainty I can say that XXX turbo produces a quicker car than YYY turbo. Is it hard fact that YYY turbo is inferior? No...it'd take more testing than that to be absolutely scientific. But if I saw 35 out of 40 people run quicker with XXX turbo, I sure would have a damn good idea of where I stand. If you don't agree with that line of thinking in this SPECIFIC scenario, then that's fine...but you don't even seem to get it. And for that, I'm wasting my time.
