| This is a fun and interesting project showing MUCH Promise! Seb has been painfully trying to hold back from unleashing his beast while doing the break-in miles on the new motor. We are old school and like to put 2K on new motors before beating the holy @#^^%#$ out of them :) So far Seb has a little over 1000 miles on the beast so we are now running it at full boost controller off level (12 PSI) We are waiting to tune it until after the motor is fully broken-in. Un-tuned with the boost controller off (12 PSI) it is putting 480HP to the ground..... So far untuned the boost response feels very much like HKS 2530's. Seb went to the track on Friday to practice his 60 fts with the new set up to be ready to run the car once it is broken-in and tuned.......I requested that he run the car hard in first and second gear and roll through the traps.....This would get the goal of getting his 60 ft times down without putting too much heat in the new engine......... Well the temptation was too great for him once he felt the power and he couldn't bring himself to let off..... I have to remind myself that Seb is young because he is normally extremely mature. (I have to say when I was his age I probably would have been cranking up the boost already!) Well...... Seb did manage to keep the boost controller off and only running 12 psi he was clicking off a 12.0 runs @ 118 MPH. Needless to say when the boost can be turned up to 30 PSI it should be a handful. For the curious..... The boost was 12 PSI (NO N20 yet) Tires were ET Streets regular JWT program Timing set at 15 degrees His 60 ft times were 1.7x He was running at LACR in Palmdale (Our high elevation track) Here is his current Mod list...
