Message restriction infront of the cooling system is a fundamentally bad idea. You don't need a degree to understand this - it's simple common sense. People have measured the air temps on the back side of intercoolers and have shown a real increase in the temperature of the air BEFORE it hits the radiator.

Say what you want, justifiy it how you want but a FMIC is a pointless, misguided mod that has *NO* real benefits that can't also be achieved w. a set of upgraded sidemounts.

If you want one then great, but don't try to bs me into thinking that it's there for anything other then "style points" w. the local crew.
