Message He some pics I've been talking to a few of you about. I'm doing an engine swap for a guy and this is what was on the jspec replacement. I had the engine torn all the way down to do the standard "refresh" stuff before I found this. Engine company has the compression numbers which they say are good. After I saw this I wasn't too sure as it would have had to have gotton pretty damn hot to melt one of these things. So I found the only leak down tester in all of Denver. Cost me twice of what it is going for online, $100!!!

All cylinders checked out fine so I think we are going to give this engine a try and see what happens. Still has a warrentee so it will just be lost labor time if we end up having to replace it later. I'm gonna call the company and see what they say first just incase they want to exchange it out now (highly unlikely). Oh and thanks Guapo for helping me jog my memory on how to do the test right, lol.
