| Ive been doing alot of searching around lately due to my engine build and I'm having a hard time finding a straight answer as to whether or not to get ARP headstuds. I have read from several posts that stock head studs are great and theres no problem with them. I believe that was a post that steamyZ posted about having some conversations with mike smith and greg dupree and a couple of other people. I have also heard that the stock headbolts tend to stretch above 20psi of boost. I guess this all factors in as to what kind of build you are doing, so I will go ahead and fill you in on that. Currently my seutp is looking like this... Block .020 over Wiseco 87.5 pistons Eagle H-beams Polished Crank/drilled Balanced bottom end Freshened heads Larger turbos (havent decided yet-probably a Z1 stage 2 or similar) Eventually I will install injectors when the funds allow but in the meantime I will break the engine in on these. My projected RWHP goal is around 500 give or take a few. That should give you an idea. Thanks
