was rebuilt by Z1, and everything else was handled by the owner, from the install of the engine to the break-in. why is Z1's workmanship the only thing in question?? everyone's so quick to point the finger, it's so sad... is it possible he didn't break it in properly? is it possible he screwed something up during the install? surely not, Z1 does this stuff for a living, so it'd make great sense for them to do crappy work. but the owner, well, there's no WAY he could've possibly done anything to bring this on. i mean, he's done all this how many times? and the fact that Z1 is the last place he chose to notify wouldn't make this whole thing a tad bit suspicious on the owner's behalf at all would it... nothing personal towards the owner, but i think he should've handled this in a completely different way as soon as he started having issues. getting on the net and pointing the finger at a reputable shop (yes, i said reputable) before you even notify them of the problem is plain crazy. if Z1 did all the work on his car, then BAM, it blew, i could see this case holding water. but until someone proves their workmanship as being the problem, i don't see why anyone would be to blame yet.
