Message	Workmanship aside (I won't get into that....).... This whole "I'm going to ship my car across the country for...." syndrome Z owners have is, to me at least, moronic. A little bit of research will likely net you a good engine builder who is within a reasonable distance. We (not SPL) built engines for customers and when they call and say "it made a weird noise" then we can drive to it and look at it. If you're in California and your Z1 motor makes a noise you don't think is normal, well, you're pretty much screwed because diagnosing engine noises over the phone is pretty tough. Warranty work...uh huh...how much is shipping again? If you're unwilling or unable to have the patience to have work done at a quality shop locally, then best of luck to you. rich Z32.org Sport Z Magazine
