| :Z32 oil pan for auto-crossing? I would be concern about the oil pump sucking air from the sloshing of the oil in the pan. it is a major concern. infact, i spent 10 laps on the high bank of Gateway International Raceway 2 weeks ago. I was watching the oil pressure sending unit VERY closely. I have yet to have a problem, however, when I build my Z32 motor up (*someday*...parts are in hand except turbos), I plan to send my pan off and have it modified or a custom one made. A hardcore TTnet racer (name with held by request) gave me a place to send my oil pan to have it made to any specs i desire (drag racing/road racing, etc). The mod should cost roughly $200.oo - $300.oo to be full done up. Honostly, the only time I have problems with oil pressure is after drifting several onramps I take to and from work... pressure dips and STAYS low for roughly 25 minutes of driving.
"As the Z32 gets older and decreases in value it becomes affordable by lower income and often less desirable people whose tastes reflect their personality and social standing.- Marshall 17:37:05 10/10/03Petz #3
