| :do you think the ashspec ecu would be safe for my 92 tt 5-speed all it has is just exhaust and K&N air filter. stock injectors. does the ash spec give you less power than lets say jwt? and how about buying a used JWT ecu that made for like a 94 automatic? do i just send it in and have them adjust the ecu chip? i know its a dumb question just wasnt to sure exactly. thanks----mike I was running the ASH ecu. I was happy with it, but when its hot outside (Texas) it woudl detonate a little bit. I don't fault the chip here.. Lemmie say that again, I DON"T FAULT THE CHIP.. I think its just a bit aggressive for my car. I installed a friends JWT chip to see if it did the same thing. The detonation is gone. But good god. The car feels like I am pulling a boat around behind it now.. and PISS rich. You can smell it strong.. USe what you will, don't get sucking into the norm on here. "Use 'this' cause everything else is crap" I'll say this, you haven't got to buy the most expensive of everything to keep your car from blowing up like some on here might have you believe.
