| Although 99.78475638593875% of the people who say they want to reduce weight, actually don't. Remove full interior, including dash board, carpet, full stereo system, spare tire, door panels, center console, etc. Remove entire AC system. Remove passenger seat. Replace drivers seat with a fiberglass racing seat. Remove seatbelts. Install roll cage and 5 pt harness for driver. Remove full HICAS system. Remove AIV, PRVR, and EGR systems. Remove carbon canister. Replace full exhaust with titanium exhaust. Remove rear wiper and motor assembly. Remove antenna and motor assembly. Remove the weight from beneath the hatch. Replace hood with a fiberglass hood. Remove airbag(s) and replace steering wheel with a light weight racing wheel. Install a lightweight battery. Replace foglights with IC ducts. There's your writeup. I have no idea how much weight that will save, but it will be several hundred pounds. The funny thing is, almost everyone who talks about weight reduction still has a full interior and a full, if not greatly upgraded stereo system. Not to mention a body kit and bigger(heavier) wheels and tires, etc, etc. Weight reduction is a fad or trend that most people who talk about it aren't willing to actually do it right. Proper weight reduction requires stripping the car down to only what is necessary for it to run and perform. Saving 2lbs by ditching the fog lights does not consist of reducing weight. It will not make the car faster. *sigh*
