is that I've seen more than a few guys move over and expect everything to be easier and cheaper but that just isn't true unless you're stock. Sure, getting to BPU and such is pretty easy, but after that all of the costs/risks/etc are present. There aren't guys that know how to work on Supras at every corner, even in SoCal...let alone in other areas of the world. You might have one great shop, but there might be a big line to do anything. Huge downtimes are common with those cars if this happens (hell, even Jack B. had nowhere to take his for a while). Add to that the fact that this car is already tricked to the gills and there goes all the fun and time you spend getting a car the way you want. He's buying a very fast and very showy car and those purchases never last. But hell, if he's happy he's happy and I hope I'm wrong. History just hasn't shown that to be the case :) For those on OT, you know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to people jumping into Supras and reselling them quickly.
