Message So I finally get the Z back on the road after a 2 month down time. Two days before my good friends wedding. A wedding which happens to be at Jay Peak VT, which if you don't know is 2.6 miles from the Canadian border.

Speaking of Canada, this reminded me of George :)

Gorgeous weather (for the most part), and the roads were amazing. Twisty, no people, no cops, perfectly paved. Hell, I even got my brakes to fade once or twice :)

Here is the only really good shot I got:

There was about 8 miles of just beautiful road, the kind which inspires comercials like "so I'm having this dream..."

So Saturday morning, we decided to cross over the border for some real beer. I pull up, state my business and think were all good. Then the lady asks us to pull over ahead and wait while the run our licenses. No biggie. I didn't shut the car off, because she didn't tell me to park, just pull over and wait.

Then this French-Candian guy comes over and says, no joke:

"Hey Mr. Z, that is a very nice car"

me: "thank you sir"

"Yes, but you can shut off now and stop polluting my country!"

Sweet, the border guy is getting all beady eyed and flappy headed on me. We end up getting in, after an anal cavity search, and stop at the first place we see for beer.

Walk in to hear Bryan Adams playing on the shop radio (how ironic). "I'm looking for strong beer"

"You are American?"

"Yes"

"Duty free shop at the border has strong beer"

So a u-turn is in order and we end up where we started, get the "strong beer" and head back. I was only able to get Molson XXX, but it did the trick.

The best part had to be coming back on the Kengamengus Highway in NH. People would pull over to let me pass with out me even being agressive (normal following distance etc). At one point we were cruzing along and this kid was riding his bike in the opposite direction. He gives me the pinky-pointer-thumb "rock on" hand signal. My buddy thought that was the coolest thing ever. Everyone loves the Z.

Kind of a pointless post, but just sharing my fun weekend with the Z.
