But you want my simple anser? I was orignal looking for a 3rd Gen Rx-7 and i eventually decided not to get one. The 7 is an aweosme car and i will own one one day but that day is not today. That car has issues despite what anyone tells you. They are fragile very high maintence cars. Typical 2-rototr motors will last 80kish. I've seen them go in within 10k and last as long as 150k. ALWAYS plan on having a motor budget. Whereas most motors can take a numerous pings before blowing up, hrt e7 typically blows up with one or two. Thunk of this car as a race car for the street, the design is great for what it is. But i wouldn't drive this car daily and most 7 owners will tell you the same if they've owned one for any amount of time. They are like a high maintence girlfriend who you love to spend time with but bitch's all the time. Well, that's my short story;)
Oh, and they like overheating reall easy. So plan on modding it, but if you mod it, you better be careful. and lastly, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD SHOP BY REFURAL, don't get one! Or plan on doing the work all by yourself. The dealerships are notorious for screwing up these cars.
