Message	they seem to work reasonably well. I suggest washing them first, they may streak a little if they are new. They haven't been bad quality; I just rip off the tags on the edge of the towels and then fold them up and use them for drying/wax/polish removal. They haven't marked my paint, ask any norcal Z owner who has seen my Z's paint. However, I've been meaning to buy a set of Pakshak towels to try. In either case, the costco towels are better than any terry/polishing/flannel cotton cloths I've used (non microfiber). They don't mark or lint.
