Message :I just saw a add in the classified with noltec motor mounts closeup picture. In my opinion they look so weak and poorly made.
they probably will fail. Bushings are NEVER ment to be in tension (ie, 'pulled'). One of the two bushings will be tension when you apply full throttle and heavy loads.
However, notice how the metal bracket forms a hook. It prevents the motor mount from over extending... and maybe, if the mount fails, it will prevent hood/engine damage.
I'm not sure how functional that safety hook is... I'd be most concerned with the bushing material itself failing.

:Any member had any experience with them? Are they any better than stock?
:To me they look like they would rip so easely.

from this, [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=classified&msg_id=71449, ] we get
$195 / set.

for $5.oo less, you can motor mounts that will never fail...

this is one of those no brainers... cheaper and a stronger product.
by the way, for the non-enthusiast, you can pick up stock motor mounts from other forum sponsors for roughly $140.oo
