| Never thought I'd do a post like this for a car, but I can't help but get it out of my system. Today my 2+2 finally left to its new owners, forum member Mike (OutkaZTT) and his wife Crystal (who will be the lucky one driving it). Don't some of you wish your wives wanted to get their own Zs and race them like Crystal? Then again, that's two cars to fund ;) Anyway, I spent yesterday and today flushing out the bad gas since I hadn't added Stabil, checking all the hoses and tightening the braided lines. I had started it religiously the first year but the last 5 or 6 months are another story. It didn't want to start at first but after a Guinness break I tried one more time and it came to life. Funny how I keep forgetting there's no H-pipe on the car and as such, I nearly shat myself as the roar of open NA exhaust filled the garage. At least I was awake. After that I gave it another coat of wax for the flatbed ride up to Vegas and cleaned up the engine bay some. I mean, the damn thing is coming out next week and here I am polishing the plenum on an already sold car. I had it bad, man. Mike and Crystal showed up and it was easy from there. They had seen the car around ZCON and already agreed to take it but today was the formal pickup day. As corny as it is, I really do miss it. Bernie, let me know who won the pool on if/when that thing would finally get sold ;) A few pics

Hasta La Vista old chum In the future some day when someone questions the true depth of my car-guy nature (read: disease), I'll simply tell them of the time I videotaped a goodbye to one of my cars. Sure, they may never speak to me again or refer to me as "the weirdo" but really...it was all worth it. Time to go drive the Turbo. Race gas makes me smile. -Seedy
