The Borla is louder than stock from idle up to about 2.5k RPM. Then it quietens down to about stock sound levels. It is loud enough to set off some car alarms, as it is quite deep. Still, I have heard louder systems. My friend's JWT system is barely louder than stock, and slightly deeper. If you don't want something similar to stock, I would go with JWT.
