My stock turbos sounded like a mini jet engine whining. These turbos don't wine. They make a swoosh sound like air is being sucked in . I can't wait to see how well they feel at full throttle once it is tuned and broken in. I have 200 miles on it so far and I took it up to 4500 rpm at 3/4 throttle. I get 8lbs of boost at about 4000 rpm at half throttle. It looks like the lag won't be that bad at full throttle once it is tuned. These ball bearing turbos spool so nicely. Once I get up to 60mph the AL DS vibrates. John from Powertrain is going to send me out another one. If this second one won't cut it, then I will get a stock 2-piece. I am guessing my shitty gas mileage is from having a new tight engine and also untuned.
