crank that was ordered ended up being bent and then went on backorder. DOH! 2. Had to get new pistons because the cylinders from the initial build were out of spec. so that's left me wondering if that same 'out of spec' trend followed to the rod bearings and contributed to the failure. Don't get me wrong, I'll freely admit that I was definitely at fault for boosting that high on pump gas but at that time I was under the impression that was a safe boost level. Now that I think about it, I probably would be going through this anyways knowing what I know about the cylinders now, I just helped it along. Right now the motor bay is being painted and we've got another crank now so it should be just a couple of weeks. I couldn't make it out to ZCON this year regardless of the status of my car, my schedule just couldn't fit it. I plan on being at the next two though, especially the Dallas ZCON in 06. :)
