Just kidding. $1050 is non-group buy price. But if you can give Eric $100 now, he'll give you 6 months to come in and get it installed (I'm sure he'll work with you, call him). In regards to having the bar on the hoop higher...you can have it set up higher but it will rub against the headliner on either side (the roof slopes down slightly from middle to the sides), and it might squeek or make some obnoxious rubbing noise. I don't have a vision problem out the rear view mirror, but I sit lower in the sear than you or Dean because I'm only 3'9". The whole deal weighs a little under 40lbs=24' of chromoly @1.4lbs/ft+6lbs for the plates and misc. hardware. Some of these guys could loose as much weight if they just took some laxatives, and it might loosen them up a little. See ya, Mark
