as far as i know, all the Vegas guys got back safely...amazing since most of California is made up crazies on cellphones and lane-splitting motorcycles (i almost took out two of them...both on BMW bikes, oddly enough). Simple Pro/Con list: Pro: - track event, always good to see people driving their cars hard... that's why we buy, build, and maintain them afterall! - lots of very friendly people... I mean, everyone i met was very laid back and cool...even to a "honda" guy. Notable mentions go to Salah (blast at Dromo1), Scott (more dromo1 bukkake), and Nick/Nix (everyone gives him crap, but, he's pretty cool). - car show... lots of very clean cars. - Seeing Mr K. It's always cool to meet someone who basically started the Japanese sports car revolution. We need more people like him in the industry. Con: - track event... i saw a mini cooper and a mustang running, but was told only nissans allowed...that's a bunch of bukkake. - parking for the banquet... Z parking only, yet, 240sx was parked out there... and why wasn't everyone parked there? I wanted a picture of all the Z32s filling the lot...lot was only half full at best. - car show seemed like a clusterfawk. Z32s spread everywhere. Z31s spread everywhere... Z33s spread out too. Overall, this event was far more organized than the last Supras Invade Vegas event. The TwinTurbo.net members stick together in a bortherhood of sorts, which is very very cool. I had a blast and was very happy i went. It was a good vacation, thanks for letting me join in on the festivities. I even got Mr K. to sign my helmet! Great event, hope it comes to Vegas sometime and it's always good to be around Car Lovers... regardless of the car they own.
