Message	[ http://www.hpcoatings.com/motorsports.htm ] . I had my oil pan hot tanked to get all the crud from the spun rod bearing. The hot tank took everything off the oil pan inside and out. So it was bear metal basicaly. So I decided to get it coated to make it look as good as new or better. I think the stock oil pan insides has similar properties like HPC. I may be wrong.
