:Anyone have any input? Yes.I've seen problems with the wilwood kit where the caliper is so close to the rim, that if you cannot stack wheel weights. and I also noticed that the caliper would put a very minimal groove in the single stacked wieghts as well. not a big deal IMHO... but something to keep in mind if you need to shave the calipers to fit in a non weighted wheel. I guess if worse comes to worst, I will follow nixit's path and do up the stock setup (pads, fluids, SS lines, ducts, etc), but despite his assurances I have a hard time believing stock can stand up to the track.
"nixits path" pros; 1. inexpensive. 2. meets all your demands. 3. still very streetable and servicable with mostly readily availble nissan parts cons; 1. for tracks that see 120+mph speeds... you might run into issues. I've only tested mine to 120/125. 2. I have experienced brake fade once after slowing down from 100 to 20 (turn 1, into the stop sign (2)) and trying to threashold brake through turn 2. it's a minimal investment, and worth a try IMHO. I have had 2 other people use my setup with, in their words, exceptional results. for the MONEY, the configuration I use is an exceptional value that WORKS. if money was not a scarce resource, I too would have 4 Wilwood rotors/calipers on my car.
