I just about fell out out my chair when he announced himself on the phone. I had just emailed Salah, and told him that I was going to email Millen to say hi since I had met him a few times previously, and that I looked forward to the track event. I asked if he'd take a few hotlaps with me at the event - figured I'd follow-up with him at the event itself. Well, the phone rings, and I hear, "Hey Scott, Steve Millen here". We proceeded to chat for about 10 minutes about the track event, my current work, my visits to Socal, and my G35C, etc. I had talked with him about 2 years ago about a research position at Stillen, but it fell through, but he remembered me. It's probably not a big deal to some of you, but, aside from getting one year older today, that really made my day. Plus, I get my Z back tonight from ZCG... time to turbo once again.
