Message	raises the octane more than that. In your example, your calling a "point" a tenth of an ROM (Research Octane Number). That's fair enough, since that's what a lot of the manufacturers do on their additive labels, mainly to mislead the public into thinking they're getting more than they really are. I try to run a 20 percent mix, which yields an improvement of 2.5 RON (Research Octane Number). So 94 goes to 96.5 octane.
