Message First off: House -> Daily Driver -> Turbo upgrade

At this point, the house is priority. I am more than happy to drive a low 12-second street car and I'm trying not to blow it up before next year. I learned with my NA that going too fast ruins the experience. That's not to say I didn't love my NA, but you can only compensate for "pushed back into the seat" feeling for so long.

That being said, when I DO upgrade, I'll be building for street/weekend/occasional track. A car I have no problem driving 3-4 days a week in the spring/summer and maybe 1-2 times during the winter. I have friends who have done this for a decade and enjoyed the hell out of it (Dean?). So if I were to do it today, I'd do this:

JWT 530BB Turbos (Extrude Honed housings)
JWT 400+ Cams (maybe something else)
JWT Dual Pop Intake
Stillen Intercoolers w/ Ducts (I can't believe I'd buy a Stillen product, but they are a superior design)
GD Inconel Manifolds
5-speed when dragging becomes boring
Nismo 555cc Injectors (maybe larger)
Ported heads, throttlebodies, matched uppper/lower intake, etc
Tein Dampers w/EDFC + Cornerbalancing + serious weight removal
JSPEC fascia w/shaved bracket

I want an ultimate street car that I can just hope in and take off with. I don't want some complex setup that I have to open bottles, tweak settings or adjust parameters for. A simple, proven setup that works and most importantly, has minimal lag. In my little world lag = the enemy. Now, I could get Sport 500s and have even less lag, but I'd rather have a tad more lag (barely) and have a much higher safe power level. 500s can be run ragged and reach nearly 500RWHP, but that's at peak efficiency which = more heat which = lesser engine life. If I can run lower boost on a bigger turbo, I can keep everything cool with the power levels I want. I want to do what I can to keep this thing as solid as I can for years to come. Then it'll be complete and I can get back to DRIVING the damn thing the way it was meant to be driven. If this damn place has taught me one thing it's how NOT to build up a car. I've learned from other's mistakes. Some people still have yet to learn ;)

Hopefully the IT field will pick up again and this can actually happen.
