:I decided to make a design that would clear the hood. after looking at the 350z and cima plenums (and a little goofing off) I came up with this.....

:Here is the skinny. It will clear the hood.... But you have to cut a small hole in the under bracing (circled in blue). to be clear about this, the hood will be totally stock with no exterior holes, bump, lumps, bulges, etc.
:(that tan color in the hole is the primer color on the bottom side of the actual hood) . the only modification is the notching of the center brace. I have about a 1/4" of excess in my riser so I am getting it milled a 1/4" shorter to see if it will clear without notching the brace.... but we will see.

:As it stands now this stbi will fit the stock hood, stock valve covers, and I am 99.9% sure the stock fan and shroud will fit.
