Message We originally started pulling the motor by slinging nylon straps around the motor mounts themselves. Although this was pretty much spot-on for balance, one of my mounts was so worn out that it totally sheared. We nearly lost the engine mid-pull.

A few emergency come-alongs on top of the plenum solved the problem, and it looks like the only damage caused by the mount failure is a bent brake line going to the MC.
