Im not sure what your definition of a "full" dynamat install is so i'll tell you mine. Dynamat was not intended to cover every nook and cranny, corner to corner. But, designed to stop body panels from resonating. When properly used, only small strips, squares and pieces should be used in stragetic areas within the interior sheet metal. If you turn your stereo up loud, step out of your car and close the doors. if you hear some excessive resonating in the door, rear quarter panels, hatch area...etc., stick a piece of dynamat on the inside of that panel and boom...its gone. Put some (small circle-size of a coffe-cup) on the back of your lic plates, this will stop them from resonating and vibrating too. Dynamat will not make the interior db level of the Z as quiet as a Cadillac. The Z has "shash-less" doors and road noise will always be present. You really dont need to spend more that 50-75 bucks on Dynamat. hope this helps : Has anyone done a full dynamat install on their Z? i was wondering how much was involved. if i do it i'd like to do the entire interior, is this worth it?
