| Zeus and I figured out where the biggest of my remaining Gremlins was coming from last night, and proceeded to kick its ass! It turns out that the gasket between the turbo and the downpipe had shifted during installation, so that area was leaking very badly. I also plugged a remaining boost leak, dumped a bottle of water wetter in there and fired her back up. After that was taken care of, it was time to take the TT on her first highway pull since the transplant. I now understand why you Turbo guys feel like you're in a league of your own...and I understand why some of you are elitist pricks (I'm becoming one too at an alarming rate!). The sensation of turbos spooling is like no NA could ever come close to delivering. The acceleration (especially with the NA differential) is mind-boggling, the sounds alone are enough to make a grown man pee himself. It was truly a blissful experience. All the time, money, effort and stress invested in the conversion were left behind as the boost gauge pushed towards a whopping FIVE psi!! hehe, I was still diagnosing and troubleshooting, so I had her set on Safety Boost. I'll be boosting 15 psi by next week. A BIG thanks to everyone who helped me in any way, there are too many of you to name. With TT.Net by my side, this project had succeeded before the first bolt was ever removed. George
