Perhaps the level of interest from a post like this can be inferred to mean the level of sales AMZ could hope to get from carrying this product, which could help them in how many items to buy in their order and therefore what kind of discount they could get? Maybe he's feeling around for interest so that he can tell us what price they'll sell for. He wasn't "announcing a product for sale", he was gauging interest. If everyone shat on this product maybe he wouldn't care enough to research the features and test a couple out for himself. Valid questions about if he's tested them out on his own, he should, but no need to crap all over him just for seeing what market is out there. tommunist
