Message	you get great weather year-round, beautiful scenery, amazing roads and some of the best quality of life on the planet. Suck it up and put up with the disadvantages. I've stayed in the Bay Area and absolutely LOVED it, I'd put up with its quirks anytime for the oportunity to live there again.
