Message	maybe it's not as bad as you think. My car was making a knocking noise that then turned in to a grinding noise, sounded like the front lower engine. I felt like crap and thought it might of been a rod too, but just turned out my ps pump went bad and when running it was just made a horrible noise, but was hard to pinpoint. Best of luck to ya!
