Message when I chose that rotor to use, I was looking specifically for a rotor with the same lug pattern and 13" of diameter. There are very few rotors easily and affordably accessible that fit that criteria - actually, there is only one - the Ford Cobra rotor. Of course, there are other options, like skyline rotors which are 13", but they are expensive and the single-piece OEM versions of that rotor dont compare to the eradispeed IMHO. They aren't terribly easy to get either.

The different offset of the Cobra rotor was actually a nice suprise - with it being 10mm different than the Z, that meant that I could use a piece of 3/8" plate steel to make the brackets from and it would locate the caliper right where it needed to be. The bracket's design simplicity`is actually much stronger than a bracket used for larger rotors that have the same offset as the bracket for those are rather complex and having a lot of closed angles to focus stress into. So the skewed offset actually was a benefit more than a hinderance in many ways.

I haven't personally seen the catalog you are referring to, but the costs associated with producing hats for rotor blanks would very likely be cost prohibitive and not so timely to have made. Like I mentioned earlier, I did not find a rotor for any vehicle sold in the USA that met the criteria I was looking for with the exception of the Cobra rotor and the EradiSpeed 2-piece unit made the setup just that much better. I recall spending a grueling amount of time searching for the 'right rotor', and eventually found myself looking through [ http://dba.com.au ] for quite some time as their database has all the information you listed as Brembo's catalog has.
