| Not hatin on the gears, but Seedy, your 'pricing' of the na rear swap is off... What you need to do the NA Rear swap NA Rear End (Diff + subframe) NA Driveshaft (1pc or stock 2 pc) NA Power Steering Pump (including the bracket to mouse pump to the block) NA PS reservoir You don't need a 'hicas eliminator' as the NA rear does not have any sort of a hicas unit. By doing the NA Rear you do shed a decent amount of weight as the difference in weight between both rears is a decent amount. You also loose the Hicas solenoid in the front (cleans up engine bay), you loose the rear hicas unit (free's up weight), all the metal lines from the rear to the front (free's up weight, not much but still), there's a couple of random weight losses also. The TT pump (90-93) weighs much more than the NA pump. In addition of the above item's i'd also do the Diff/subframe bushings, new PS hoses and what not. They will add cost to the setup. Now, with the NA rear you do have some weaker components such as axles and what not that you get along with the package, but if you wait out long enough you can find a setup for under 300 dollars (for the NA rear). I found someone local who had one, my whole setup after i sold the TT parts (the tt subframe is still in my garage) was $174.76. It's just a matter of what you can find for how much. The NA rear swap is not as hard as people make it out to be. Dont get me wrong, If someone wants to make these gears its 'simpler' to just get the gears swapped out, but its not cheaper and the NA rear swap is really not *that* much more difficult than dropping the TT rear. eh long post =\...
