Message	I have to use the lighter to connect it. Could I hard wire it with out causing any damage to the unit (V1) as long as I splice a fuse to the wiring system. Bottom line I hate wires hanging on my face while driving. I think Nissan did a lousy job on putting the cigarrette lighter right in the middle of the console, that's why I put another lighter plug inside the arm rest compartment for my cellphone. BTW thanks to all for your comments, I think I'm going to buy it and move the Vector into my DD.
