my concern is this. we cant exactly warranty something that we didnt install. this may not seem important to you, which tells me you did not take the proper steps to prep the motor before startup. if you had, then you would have listed them in saying, "yes, i did such and such. blah blah" in neglecting to mention VERY important details, you basically proved that you were not prepared to set in this motor. EVERY SR20DET needs to have the oil pan removed, pickup looked at and the oil pan needs to be banged out. im 100% positive this wasnt done, or you wouldve said you took those necessary steps to ward against rodknock in order to show your apptitude, but instead you show your ineptitude.
