(Image taken by Alex Chang at Formula D in Atlanta) The sil-eighty pictured above runs 235/40/17 on a 17x10 in the rear - somewhat stretched tire - 3.5 degrees negative camber, slightly rolled fenders. Note the other cars run super wide rims and super stretched tires. This is the ideal setup for drift - as a super stretched tire has sharper turn in characteristics and in some cases better overall response and transition characteristics then a big 305 on the same wheel. For certain motorsports activities - such as drifting, this is more ideal than maximum contact patch and overall traction. Chris Foresburg runs 225's on 10" wide Work wheels on his 350Z (SR Powered) and placed second in Formula D btw - and 245's are not a problem for 11's.
